There are three Royal Movies in March. The first Hallmark March movie is The Royal We starring Mallory Jansen and Charlie Carrick. The premiere is on Saturday, March 1, at 8 p.m., Eastern. The expectations are high. Early in 2024, the network rebranded the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel to Hallmark Mystery. Hallmark has ordered two more Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies for 2024 and 2025. The movies are inspired by Martha Williamson's television series of the same name. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries recently rebranded as Hallmark Mystery and the network knows how much fans enjoy its content. While some of the mystery movie franchises are over and done, there is some positive news about others. Read on to find out the current status of Hallmark’s mystery movie franchises below.

Sleuthers will recall that real-life husband and wife, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega starred in the Picture Perfect Mysteries movies. Meanwhile, the last we saw of the franchise was in 2020 and Alexa confirmed on Instagram that this franchise was over.

POstables have been waiting for nearly three years on new Signed, Sealed, Delivered, and now Hallmark has made it official. They are making not one, but two new movies! That means Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson are back for more.

Late on Tuesday, the Hallmark Mystery social media channels lit up with some fantastic news. According to their Twitter site, they shared “#POstables, we’re back with an all new mystery that you won’t want to miss! #SignedSealedDelivered #2024” In addition, they asked POstables to share their reactions to the four main stars of the series, Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered is arguably one of Hallmark Channel’s best franchises.

The long-running signature franchise centered on the Dead Letter Office, a division of the Post Office, and the four postal workers who doubled as detectives to track down the people who never got letters and packages that were sent to them.

Eric Mabius starred as postal detective Oliver O’Toole, with Kristin Booth as technophile Shane McInerney, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe as free-spirited Rita Haywith, and Geoff Gustafson as master researcher Norman Dorman.

Now, there’s been a few updates we can share about the future of the franchise.

Exclusive: UK firm 101 Films International has acquired worldwide sales rights (excluding North America) for Marlene, and will launch the drama feature in Toronto this week.

Directed and produced by Wendy Hill-Tout (Bloodthirsty), who co-wrote the script with Cathy Ostlere, and co-produced by Michael Peterson (Lloyd the Conqueror), Marlene is billed as “the untold harrowing story of one woman’s fight for truth and justice – to exonerate Steven Truscott who was sentenced to hang for the murder of a 12-year-old classmate.”

Kristin Booth (Defendor), Grey Bryk (Saw V), Maxim Roy (Regenesis) and Ryan Northcott star, along with Julia Sarah Stone and Dempsey Bryk, who play young Marlene and Steven, respectively.

Hallmark Media president/CEO Wonya Lucas and programming EVP Lisa Hamilton Daly know how much their viewers love and miss certain franchises. Yet when it comes to Good Witch (which ended over a year ago) and Signed, Sealed, Delivered, the execs are not ready to confirm any return timetables.

Good Witch ended its run in July 2021, with a Season 7/series finale in which Cassie (played by Catherine Bell) saved the cousins’ imperiled magic, Stephanie and Adam decide to tie the knot (but Donovan and Abigail broke up) and Cassie’s brother Vincent returned to Middleton.

Emmy nominee Paul Reiser has officially joined the cast of Amazon’s The Boys as a guest star in the fan-favorite role of The Legend, following rumors of his participation in the series that went unconfirmed. Reiser will make his series debut in this week’s episode titled “The Last Time To Look On This World Of Lies” which drops on Friday.

The 8-episode season is set to conclude on July 8. Amazon renewed the series for a fourth season last week.

Amazon revealed during the latest installment of Vought News Network, which can be viewed above, that The Boys will bring the heat this summer when it returns with a three-episode premiere on Friday, June 3. New episodes will be available each Friday leading to the season finale July 8.

Laurie Holden has suited up as the Crimson Countess in a sneak-peek image for Season 3 of The Boys on Amazon.

The Boys‘ official Instagram account provided fans of the comic book series their first look at Holden’s masked supe on Friday. In June, Deadline learned that The Americans and Proven Innocent actress was set to join the upcoming season in a recurring role.

As the Crimson Countess, Holden will join stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid and Antony Starr. Additional actors joining Season 3 as supes are Sean Patrick Flanery, Miles Gaston and Nick Wechsler. Frances Turner, Kristin Booth and Jack Doolan will also appear in Season 3.

Jensen Ackles will also join the upcoming season as Soldier Boy.

The picture sees Holden donning a wig, super-suit complete with a cape all in color-ways apt for the Crimson Countess. The Instagram caption is short but pointed, reading, “Payback’s a b*tch.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made finally joins Shane (Kristin Booth) and Oliver (Eric Mabius) in holy matrimony.

It's been a long a lovely road for the two beloved characters to finalize their union, and we had a chance to chat with both stars about what you can expect from the movie.

Exclusive: Frances Turner (The Man In The High Castle), Kristin Booth (The Hot Zone: Anthrax) and Jack Doolan (Marcella) are set to join Season 3 of The Boys in recurring roles. They will appear opposite series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Anthony Starr and more.

The third part of the series will tell the story of Vought’s first superhero, Soldier Boy (played by Jensen Ackles) and his Payback team, focusing on his WW II exploits and more.

Turner will recur as Monique, wife of Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso).

Booth and Doolan will play supe siblings Tessa and Tommy, aka the TNT Twins.

Hallmark Channel announced the premiere dates of six all-new movies releasing as part of the network’s “Fall Harvest” programming event, running from Sept. 11 through Oct. 16. The program lineup includes fall romances and holiday specials, alongside a Mystery Movies round of films.

Hallmark’s autumn will be full of original titles as the network unveiled the film lineups for its Fall Harvest and Movie & Mysteries events.

In addition to the previously announced Roadhouse Romance, Hallmark’s Fall Harvest event will feature the weekly premieres of Taking The Reins, South Beach Love and more. The annual Fall Harvest programming event will run from Saturday, September 11 through Saturday, October 16.

From Sunday, September 12 through Sunday, October 17, Hallmark will debut thrilling mysteries each week, including One Summer starring Sam Page, Amanda Schull and Grey’s Anatomy alum Sarah Drew. Also part of the line up are Redemption In Cherry Springs, The Vows We Keep and One Summer.

Ryan Reynolds never misses an opportunity to take hilarious self-deprecating shots at some of the more ignominious entries from his notoriously checkered CV of movies and television. The latest such example, a campaign for his Mint Mobile premium wireless company, takes a shot at his film flop, Foolproof.

Enter Mint Mobile+, a mock streaming service set up by Reynolds, bearing an accompanying website that entices would-be subscribers by showcasing the content available to stream. However, said content simply consists of one movie, Foolproof, which has been repackaged in numerous entries across the platform’s entire (Disney+ imitating) interface.
