    • Paul Bogart was born on November 13, 1919 in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. He was a director and producer, known for CBS Playhouse (1967), All in the family (1971) and Torch Song Trilogy - Personne n'est parfait! (1988). He was married to Jane Bogart. He died on April 15, 2012 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA.

  • In a 2001 interview with the Archive of American Television, he said that his birthday was November 13, 1919, but that one of his parents changed it to November 21 on his birth certificate because he/she considered the number 13 unlucky. Both of his parents later blamed each other for the change.
  • Prior to World War II worked as a puppeteer with the Berkeley Marionettes in New York.
