A new business war is looming on The Young and the Restless. Since his return, Cane’s made it clear he wants to take over all of Genoa City’s companies. However, he’s got a huge fight on his hands.
Unlikely Alliance
Cane’s (Billy Flynn) plan to take over the Genoa City business district is putting many companies at risk. Jabot, Newman Enterprises, and Chancellor are in danger of closing. Although Victor (Eric Braeden), Jack (Peter Bergman), and many others have vowed to stop Cane, they have a tough battle. Cane’s now a big billionaire and power player, so the odds are in his favor.
However, there just might be a way for everyone to take down Cane.
On a soap opera message board, Y&r fans suggested the possibility of Genoa City’s companies teaming up. “Wouldn’t it be a great twist to see Billy Boy...

Young and the Restless weekly prediction edition talks about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) being outed and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) being betrayed.
We’ve got predictions for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), for Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane, for Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and also for Cane and Audra. Let’s get right into it.
Adam and Chelsea’s Struggle: Newman Family Loyalty and Corporate Battles
Our very first prediction: Adam and Chelsea are going to struggle. Friday spoilers say Adam has had enough of Chelsea’s loyalty to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Also this week, Adam and Chelsea run into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) while they’re out.
Nick took Adam’s side about not attacking Billy until Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told Nick that Billy Boy is working with Cane.

Young and the Restless fans are wondering if longtime enemies Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) realize that they need to unite and work together to beat Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
The Young and the Restless: Cane’s Takeover Plot
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) just found out that Cane’s big plot, now that he has pulled off his Dumas disguise, is to take over every single big corporation in Genoa City. And that includes Newman Enterprises, Jabot, Chancellor, and even Winters, the company co-run by his ex-wife, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and her brother Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
I’m guessing he doesn’t care about Vibrante since Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) company doesn’t even exist right now. But an improbable alliance could be just the ticket to defeat Cane and his wicked plot. As Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) warned his dad, Victor, big bad...

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could very well find himself as a person of interest in a murder investigation in Nice. Is Billy Boy about to get entangled in a murder mystery he never intended to become involved in?
Cane Ashby Invited Chance Chancellor To His Estate, Confiding He’d Had Murder Threats
Viewers of the CBS soap are aware that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) informed Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about a significant threat.
Cane suspects that there is someone out there who wants to kill him, which opens up several possible directions for this narrative. If Cane is indeed the target, we could be looking at an attempted murder mystery.
While we can be sure that the show won’t be writing off Cane, he might still face a life-or-death struggle – potentially leading to a whodunit scenario with several suspects involved.

On the June 3 episode of The Young and the Restless, Kyle offered to pay Victor five million dollars if Kyle ends up breaking Claire’s heart. Since money means nothing to either Kyle or Victor, it was a pretty empty gesture on both sides. But what if Victor has a counteroffer for Jack’s son?
Dirty Sexy Money
There is not a penny to Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) name that he earned for himself. It all comes from John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). So, of course, Kyle is free to offer it to Victor (Eric Braeden). Victor did earn his own money. But the five million dollars would not be for something Victor did, but for something Kyle did to Claire (Hayley Erin).
Still, he should pay Victor. It’s his pain and suffering at watching his granddaughter’s pain and suffering that Kyle needs to feel sorry for.

We’re going to talk about some wild and wicked things that Phyllis may do as she spirals further out of control.

For the Thursday, May 8 episode of The Young and the Restless, spoilers photos show tensions rising, tempers flaring, and a whole lot of drama coming your way!
Scenes From Genoa City
Is the honeymoon phase of living together over for Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)? It sure seems like it with all the tension brewing in these new snaps. The pair look rather heated and Chelsea definitely does not look happy. Has Adam crossed another line that has her up in arms? Or, is there something foregoing on?
More: Find out what happened last on Y&R.
Over at Society, Devon (Bryton James) meets ups with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Nate (Sean Dominic) and it seems like their conversation isn’t all sunshine and roses, either. Teasers say Devon will find himself in a hard position with his family and judging by the pictures, that seems pretty accurate.

Hey, Young and the Restless fans. I’ve got your weekly prediction edition. We’re going to talk about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) playing dirty games with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) cheating.
We’ve got predictions for Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), for Victor and Phyllis, for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Duma, for Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and also for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis.
Young and the Restless Predictions: Did Mariah Cheat on Tessa?
Young and the Restless prediction number one: Mariah cheated on Tessa. So, on Tuesday, spoilers have Tessa troubled by Mariah’s behavior. And of course, Sharon was stunned last week when Mariah told her she did something awful on her trip, and it’s something Tessa can never find out. That certainly sounds terribly bad. But then she told Sharon that she got drunk off her mini bar.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week’s episodes of the CBS soap tease that it’s more of the same.
This week, the kidnapping story moved forward, confirming that Martin (Alan Cousins) was the one who kidnapped Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon (Sharon Case).
Aristotle Dumas is still a mystery, likely taking viewers into sweeps month. There were theories that Daniel Goddard (Cane) could be behind the name, but now we know he is heading to General Hospital. There have also been discussions that Billy Flynn may debut as the mystery man.
Victor (Eric Braeden) is still plotting his next move, which should surprise no one.
As the writers prepare for May sweeps, more storylines will be moved to the front burner.
Here’s what’s happening next week on The Young and the Restless.
Victor is up to no good
Victor and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) teaming up is a bad idea.

Victor (Eric Braeden) did it. He bought Chancellor from Jill (Jess Walton). Of course, Billy (Jason Thompson) is going to be on the warpath eventually. But for now, the top CEO spot belongs to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). And she’s happy to have it. Nikki embraces her new role at Chancellor Enterprises. Now that Victor has temporarily taken care of Billy, he can focus some of his menace on Kyle (Michael Mealor). When Victor warns Claire (Hayley Erin) about Kyle, does he urge her to cut all ties with him? After all, he is Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for September 9 see Victor doing what Victor does by getting some dirt on Billy. Will Lily be the one who gives it to him? Plus, Kyle and Summer make moves in the right direction while Nate and Audra make things official. This is going to be a big Monday, so don’t miss out!
Paydirt
Victor (Eric Braeden) is making moves in his plan to acquire Abbott-Chancellor. We’re not even entirely sure why he’s doing it, but it seems his big motivation right now is to bring down “Billy Boy,” which, in turn, should also hurt Jack (Peter Bergman). He also still has his Glissade plan in action, so surely one (or both) will be off.
As Victor so often does, he’s able to get ammunition against Billy, and we suspect Lily (Christel Khalil) will be the one to give it to him.

Perhaps Kyle will follow Victor’s (Eric Braeden) orders and fire Claire. We doubt it, though, because the writers are definitely setting the stage for a. Kyle and Claire pairing.
It’s a safe bet that Kyle finally gets up the nerve to ask the nanny out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week’s episodes of the hit CBS soap tease that past trauma and mistakes are the name of the game in Genoa City.
Finally, we are getting movement on two storylines that have been dragging for weeks.
Since Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) became obsessed with being Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) friend, Y&r fans knew history would repeat itself.
That’s what happens next week when Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) rush to the hospital after Faith is in a car accident.
At the hospital, they discover Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom) and learn Lucy was in a car crash, too.
The other storyline gaining movement is Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melisa Claire Egan) cheating, and that’s not all that happens on The Young and the Restless, either.

Eric Braden has given The Young and the Restless fans something to discuss.
The actor, who has played Victor Newman on Y&r for nearly 45 years, loves interacting with fans on social media.
Eric always keeps fans entertained, whether sharing a powerful message, talking sports, or spilling some tea on the hit CBS soap.
The other day, Eric was at it again on X (formerly Twitter) with a little bit of The Young and the Restless news.
“Just did some wonderful scenes with Amelia ( Victoria) and J Eddy Peck (Cole)! Well written scenes that were fun to do!” read Eric’s X.
The message got fans buzzing in the comments section, and they wondered what was in store for Victor, Cole, and Victoria.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 20, demonstrate that Victor can plot against more than one Abbott at a time as he moves from Jack to Billy.
Petty Person
Victor (Eric Braeden) has hated Billy Boy (Jason Thompson) for a long time now. We’re supposed to think it’s because Victor didn’t think Billy was good enough to be sleeping with Victor’s precious daughter and namesake, Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
We, personally, think Victor has had issues with Billy ever since it turned out that John (Jerry Douglas) was his father and not Victor. That didn’t make sense to Victor. He slept with Jill (Jess Walton). How dare her child not be his? Billy’s existence is an affront to Victor’s manliness. So, the only way to fix this is to get rid of him. Which is what Victor is about to do now.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Billy fires Lily, Diane’s Victor plan, and Sally confronts Adam
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the hit CBS soap reveal that some people have much explaining to do in Genoa City.
It’s been a bit lackluster on the daytime drama for the past few weeks.
However, all of that appears to be changing, with a few twists and turns coming fans’ way.
One happens to be the fallout of Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) overhearing Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) talk about hooking up in Baltimore.
We all know Chelsea and Adam will try to cover their tracks, but it may not be easy for the cheaters.
In the latest Y&r preview video, Sally isn’t backing down and demands Adam tell her the truth. Sally isn’t buying his story anymore that he didn’t treat Chelsea right when they were visiting Connor (Judah Mackey).

The Young and the Restless fans have something to celebrate because Christel Khalil is back playing Lily Winters on the hit CBS soap.
Christel and Lily have been Mia since December, when Lily left to be near her daughter Mattie after a fire near her school.
It should be common knowledge now that Lily was written out so Christel could go on maternity leave.
The actress was expecting her second child, a son, in December.
Christel has yet to announce the birth of her baby boy, which is not a surprise considering she keeps her personal life extremely private.
What she has done, though, is revealed that she’s back on the Y&r set with two of her favorite people.
When will Christel Khalil be back on screen as Lily Winters on The Young and the Restless?
The other day, Christel took to her Instagram Stories to announce she had returned from maternity leave.

Stepping back from the bombastic action of the ever-expanding McU, Robert Downey Jr.’s upcoming appearance in David Dobkin’s The Judge is drawing a lot of attention coming out of Toronto. For long-term fans of the charismatic actor, it marks a return to the low-key and cunning roles found in films such as Two Guys and a Girl along with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and is a welcome tonic to the adventures of Tony Stark.

London, January 24: A new survey has revealed that British people want more sex, as two-thirds have admitted that they don't feel they get enough action.
The survey, commissioned by condom brand Billy Boy, found that a staggering 63 percent of the people claimed to be frustrated by the lack of sex in their lives, the Daily star reported.
The research has revealed that more than a third are not having sex due to the cold weather, despite the fact that seven in 10 spend more time in bed during winters than in summers.
It was also found that 77 percent of the people were keen to spice up their sex life with a kinky outdoor romp, and that more daring Brits wanted to have a threesome, while bondage was on the to-do list.

What is Casting Couch? It’s where Hollywood moms come every day to find out if their actor kids have gotten a job. Remember that movie about the day JFK got shot that Tom Hanks was putting together because these days he’s such a history loving, lame dad? It’s called Parkland, and it just put together an awesome cast. According to Collider, director Vincent Bugliosi has signed the terrific trio of Paul Giamatti, Jackie Weaver, and Billy Boy Thornton to headline the cast. There’s no word on what characters they’ll be playing, but my guess is Giamatti will be JFK, Thornton will be Jackie O, and Weaver will be Lee Harvey Oswald. Makes sense, no? Not only is Benedict Cumberbatch awesome in the BBC’s preemptive Elementary ripoff, Sherlock, he also has the most fun name to say in the entire world. Benedict Cumberbatch. So it’s with great joy we report that...

Sometimes when an older idea or concept is told in a surprising new style by way of another medium, the result can be a something completely new. And in the case of this new film, something utterly charming. Sylvain Chomet has followed up his 2003′s The Triplets Of Belleville with this hand-drawn animated feature based on an unpublished story by the late Jacques Tati (Mr. Hulot’S Holiday ) called The Illusionist. This tale harkins back to the simpler days of filmmaking while the animation techniques used to tell it are state of the hand-drawn art. It’s almost a leisurely trip back in time to a gentler world of wonder and magic.
The Illusionist tells the story of an aging male magician (drawn to resemble Tati) who performs his act, accompanied by an ill-tempered rabbit, to small crowds at a Parisian vaudeville-style theatre. It is the early sixties and contemporary...

Chicago – The Action Film is getting a bit creaky, relying more on computer generated eye candy than character or plot. It is refreshing to experience a film like “Faster,” featuring Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton, because it is an action film that means something, and puts its inhabitants on a path to their own salvation.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
Dwayne Johnson is Driver, a mysterious hulk of a man who is introduced on his last day of a prison sentence. He has served 10 years for a crime he did commit, and throughout that sentence remained an independent operator, shunned by all in the lock-up hellhole. He is bent on revenge upon the persons who have put him there, and killed his brother. Someone has left a Detroit muscle car for him to use (naturally) with plenty of weaponry firepower therein.

In homage to Jacques Tati, French animator Sylvain Chomet has crafted an exquisite, gently comic and elegiac film
Seven years ago, French animator Sylvain Chomet made a pleasing intervention into the world of bland, airbrushed, computer-animated American movies with his delightful Belleville Rendezvous (aka Les Triplettes de Belleville). A crucial element in his wildly inventive film was the Tour de France, and Chomet wanted to include a clip featuring the cycling postman from his great hero Jacques Tati's Jour de fête. He wrote to the director's daughter, Sophie Tatischeff, seeking permission, and she was so impressed she not only gave him the go-ahead but also drew his attention to an unfilmed screenplay her father had written in the late 1950s. Filed in the archives as "Film Tati No 4", it was dedicated to her. Tati had abandoned what has now become The Illusionist as being too serious and personal, embarking instead on the extravagant Playtime,...

Partly set in Edinburgh, Sylvain Chomet's affectionate, hand-drawn animation is a delight, says Peter Bradshaw
This movie by the French film-maker Sylvain Chomet is an act of homage and an act of cinematic love: a classically conceived, hand-drawn animation based on an unproduced script by Jacques Tati, written in 1956: a manuscript evidently guarded for more than 50 years by his family, and particularly his daughter Sophie, until Chomet begged for permission to adapt it, with a new British setting. The result is utterly distinctive and beguiling, with its own language and grammar of innocence: gentle, affectionate, whimsical, but deeply felt and with an arrowhead of emotional pain. I think it will be admired and loved as much as Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away was 10 years ago.
The Illusionist is a semi-silent movie, with rudimentary, mumbled fragments of dialogue, about an old-fashioned variety-turn conjuror at the end of the 1950s,...

Director: Michael Winterbottom Writers: Michael Winterbottom, John Curran (screenplay), Jim Thompson (novel) Starring: Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Bill Pullman, Ned Beatty, Tom Bower, Elias Koteas, Simon Baker, Brent Briscoe, Matthew Maher, Liam Aiken, Jay R. Ferguson Lou Ford (Casey Affleck) – the narrator, a blatantly unreliable one at that – is a soft-spoken and seemingly mild-mannered deputy sheriff in Central City, a small rural town in west Texas in the early 1950s. Lou doesn’t even carry a gun because crime in this oil boomtown is utterly nonexistent. He lives alone in the same home where he was raised. In the evenings, like a wayward European aristocrat, he tinkers around classically on his piano, reads books from his well-stocked library and listens to opera records. He has a beautiful girlfriend, his childhood sweetheart, named Amy (Kate Hudson) and has earned the utmost respect of his alcoholic boss, Sheriff Bob Maples...

Gorillaz will pay tribute to late acting legend Dennis Hopper during the band's headlining slot at Britain's Glastonbury festival - by projecting images from his "Easy Rider" movie on to the stage. The band, fronted by Damon Albarn, has been drafted in to replace U2 on Friday night, June 25 after the Irish rockers pulled out due to Bono's recent back surgery.
And the group is determined to make the show a poignant one by remembering Hopper - who befriended Albarn after narrating Gorillaz's track "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head" in 2005. Albarn tells Britain's The Sun, "I think he'd be happy with what we've planned. I know he would want to be doing this if he was still with us."
"I saw him three weeks before he passed away and, obviously he was incredibly ill. But he was very positive about everything." Gorillaz's co-creator Jamie Hewlett adds, "It's important...

You’ve probably never even heard of Bill Condon, but he was the director of the Beyonce-Jennifer Hudson movie “Dreamgirls”. And before that, he did the well-received but barely seen “Kinsey”. Up next for Billy boy? How about directing both “Breaking Dawn” movies for Summit Entertainment. Variety has the director currently in negotiations to helm both “The Twilight Saga” parts, which would bring Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampire series to a finish. Well, for now, anyway. I’m sure Summit has plans for prequels and spin-offs and other ways to squeeze more blood out of that stone. As predicted, Meyer’s last book in the series, “Breaking Dawn” will be split into two films. The book is a massive one, and honestly, they could probably have done three movies out of it. Though the franchise has used up three directors so far, with Condon being the fourth, it...

"Don't let the bright lights and loud sounds fool you. This is fan art, not the work of Joss Whedon." Why did Billy Boy want to give Penny keys to a shiny new Australia? What's the deal with Johnny Snow? Why the heck do people like Captain Hammer so damn much anyway? Answers to all these questions and more are now just a click away. Shot in several locations around Houston, Texas, Horrible Turn tells the story of Billy Boy before he receives his PhD in Horribleness...you know, high school. It features 12 original songs, a talented cast of young performers, enough insider Whedon jokes to please the brownest of Browncoats and the Guildies. Oh yeah, and it's completely fan created. Tubefilter had a chance to catch up with Chance McClain who directed, co-wrote, and co-produced this intrepid not-actually-canon-but-darn-good prequel. "We had a vision and fought to bring it to light at any cost,...
