Phillip Schofield has criticised the investigation into This Morning's 'bondage for beginners' segment.

Ofcom confirmed earlier this month that it would investigate the piece, which was shown at 10.30am and featured advice on sex toys.

The festive fundraising extravaganza returns, as Ant and Dec, Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, and Paddy McGuinness and Alesha Dixon are joined by a host of famous faces to raise money for six deserving causes.

Highlights include George Clooney making a surprise visit to Downton Abbey, and Ant and Dec hosting a Yule Tucker Trial for an unsuspecting celebrity.

Christine Bleakley will come back to This Morning in 2015.

The presenter will host the ITV show alongside Phillip Schofield from Monday, January 5.

She will co-present the show until February half term when current host Amanda Holden will re-join Schofield until Holly Willoughby returns from maternity leave.

Bleakley, who has guest hosted the programme before and previously shared Dancing on Ice presenting duties with Schofield, said: "It's always a joy to host This Morning and to see my good friend Phillip. We always have fun together, and I can't wait to see the whole team again."

The clip sees Fearne Cotton, Keith Lemon, Paddy McGuinness, Christine Bleakley, Phillip Schofield and Stephen Mulhern celebrate the holidays together.

Phillip Schofield will attempt to break the British record for the longest live TV broadcast in December.

The presenter will launch ITV's Text Santa appeal on December 1, appearing live on ITV for 24 hours non-stop, an ITV spokesperson told Digital Spy.

Text Santa will then air on ITV on December 19, where Schofield will be joined by Ant & Dec, Christine Bleakley, Alesha Dixon and Paddy McGuinness.

The telethon will raise money and awareness for the UK charities Teenage Cancer Trust, Guide Dogs, WellChild, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Alzheimer's Society and Together for Short Lives.

Schofield will reportedly only be allowed to pause for toilet breaks during his 24-hour record attempt.

Further details about his challenge will be announced in the coming weeks, including which shows he will appear on.

The previous record is currently held by David Dimbleby, who presented coverage of the 2010 general election results for 18 hours.

Alesha Dixon has joined this year's Text Santa as a presenter.

The singer and Britain's Got Talent judge will team up with Paddy McGuinness to front one hour of ITV's charity appeal on Friday, December 19.

They will be joined by Ant & Dec, Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley as they try to raise money and awareness for six UK charities.

Dixon said: "I'm really excited to be joining the Text Santa team. It's a great show that does fantastic work for people we all know; as the slogan says: 'It's The Time of Year to Help Those Near', so I hope everyone digs deep and joins in the fun with me and the rest of the gang on Friday, December 19."

Amanda Holden made her This Morning debut today as she fills in for Holly Willoughby while the regular host takes maternity leave.

The 43-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge admitted to fellow presenter Phillip Schofield that she had "massive butterflies" at the start of the ITV show.

"I felt really wretchedly nervous yesterday and now I feel a little bit better," she said.

Schofield kicked off proceedings by reading out tweets from fans and viewers wishing Holden good luck, including one from Willoughby, to which Holden replied: "Thank you Holly, hope you've got your feet up at home!"

She pointed at her chest and asked Schofield: "My heart is pounding - can you see it?"

He then quipped: "You told me you've got three nipple covers on!"

When Holden joked whether such a subject was appropriate for morning TV, he exclaimed: "It's absolutely fine because I have too!"

Christine Bleakley has dismissed claims that she is moving to America with her fiancé Frank Lampard.

The former England international recently signed for New York City Fc, and will join the club next January after a six-month loan spell at Manchester City.

However, despite suggestions that Bleakley would move to New York with her partner, the ITV presenter told the 'Soft & Gentle Don't Sweat It' campaign that she has no plans to up sticks.

"It's all rubbish," Bleakley said of the potential move. "I've been quoted as saying all manner of things, like I'm handing out CVs in America!

"Well I'm not. And I'm not moving there either. Home is still very much London."

Bleakley also said that she is looking forward to hosting more of This Morning.

The celebrity panellists for Keith Lemon's Through The Keyhole have been revealed.

Jonathan Ross, Fearne Cotton, Alan Carr and Joey Essex will all appear in the upcoming series, alongside Christine Bleakley, Louis Walsh, Jimmy Carr, Myleene Klass and Des O'Connor.

Carol Vorderman, Warwick Davies, Gabby Logan and Kym Marsh will also act as panellists on the ITV show.

The gameshow will see Lemon searching through the houses of global celebrities, with the panel having to guess who the house belongs to.

The Britain's Got Talent judge will fill in for Willoughby for 12 months from September.

Phillip Schofield jokingly stormed off the set of This Morning, after co-host Holly Willoughby claimed that he looked like former EastEnders actress Pam St Clement.

Willoughby was left to present a section of the show alone when Schofield mocked offence to her cheeky comments.
