    • From drama to comedy, actor Joshua Bitton has appeared in dozens of award winning projects in film and television over the years, and is positioned for his most exciting year yet. In 2018, Bitton can be seen starring on CBS All Access' new mystery drama series, "One Dollar," opposite John Carroll Lynch, Leslie Odom Jr., Aleksa Palladino, and Hamilton Clancy. Set in a small rust belt town in a post-recession America, a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of people involved in a shocking multiple murder. The path of the one-dollar bill and point of view in each episode paints a picture of a modern American town with deep class and cultural divides that spill into the open as the town's secrets get revealed. Bitton is a stand out as Chewy, a snarky yet loyal blue collar police officer, born and raised in Pittsburgh. "One Dollar" debuted on August 29, 2018.

Bitton has appeared on dozens of critically acclaimed projects over the years, including starring as Maldonado on HBO's eight part critically acclaimed series "The Night Of," and as J.P. Morgan for Steven Spielberg on HBO's award-winning, World War II mini series "The Pacific." Additional television credits include: "Reverie," "Bosch," "American Vandal," "The Last Tycoon," "Grey's Anatomy," "Justified," "Lucifer," "Daredevil," "Major Crimes," "The Mentalist," and "Castle," to name a few.

On the film front, Bitton's credits include sci-fi indie "The Tangle" (directed by Ink's Christopher Soren Kelly) which he also co-produced, "The Diggers" (written and directed by Patrick McGowan), "For Love of Money," and appearing opposite Nicolas Cage in "National Treasure" and Tom Hanks in "Larry Crowne."

Originally from Queens, New York City, Bitton attended Stuyvesant High School, where he excelled in baseball and went on to play college ball at the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY) before moving on to obtain his MFA at Rutgers University. While sports were always a big passion of his, Bitton loved creating characters and bringing them to life on stage and in front of the camera. Bitton has had an expansive career in theater and is currently a member of Rogue Machine Theatre Company in Los Angeles. When he isn't on set or on stage, you can find him cheering on the Yankees and taking road trips with his lovable pit bull, Mickey.
