- Son of Joseph Biolek and Hedwig Biolek née Lerch, has two brothers.
- Has adopted 2 sons: Scott Biolek-Ritchie and Keith Biolek-Austin (died in April 2021). He is survived by Scott Biolek-Ritchie.
