Attended ATYP - Australian Theatre for Young People for many years. She was also at Ross Coleman School of Performing Arts while Ross Coleman was actively teaching - a dream, since seeing him in 'A Chorus Line'.

Is an avid lover of horses and began horse riding as a 6 yr old. Began sailing at 14 in Sydney Harbor. Began windsurfing, scuba diving and Repelling (also known as Ab Sailing) as a teenager.

She spent her formative years in the USA while her father was doing his PhD in American History. She came back to the U.S. while her father was teaching at U.C. Santa Barbara and was at the same school as actor/directors Anthony Edwards and Eric Stoltz. The family while camping around America in a station wagon ended up going to 37 states!.
