Allison Bibicoff
- Intimacy Coordinator

Like all good little girls in Brooklyn, Allison started attending ballet class when she was 5 years old. She stuck with it and was on scholarship at the Dan Durrie Dance Center throughout high school. Allison entered UCLA as a dance major and graduated from their theatre department magna cum laude before pursuing a performing career. She spent several years as an actress and dancer (jazz and Broadway styles, plus swing, salsa, and all partner dances). Highlights included assistant dance captain and dancing in the national tour of Swing!, dancing with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at The Hollywood Bowl, and co-starring in a film opposite James Franco. She moved into choreographing. Credits including The Who's Tommy (L.A. Drama Critics Circle nomination), Godspell (LA Weekly Award nomination), 1776, Savin' Up for Saturday Night (world premiere) and assistant choreographer for Xanadu on Broadway (4 Tony nominations, including Best Choreography). Allison next added directing to her resume, including three productions of Mark Brown's 5 actor/42 character adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days, which garnered rave reviews and was the LA Times Critics Choice. Allison has a focus on developing new work and has proudly directed readings of three new musicals chosen for the ASCAP/Dreamworks/Universal Theatrical Group Musical Theatre Workshop, moderated by Stephen Schwartz. In 2019, Allison added Intimacy Coordination/Direction to her skill set. She is one of only 43 ICs in the U.S. listed on the SAG/AFTRA IC registry. She has trained with three top companies in three countries, including participating in Ita O'Brien's (I May Destroy You, Normal People) first ever advanced training in London. Allison is mental health first aid certified, and trained in sexual harassment awareness, conflict resolution, and more. Allison has given presentations about Intimacy Choreography for AFI (seven times), USC's Peter Stark Producing Program, FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Arts, and more. She enjoys sharing what to expect when you work with an ID/IC and is available to do so for groups of all sizes in person or over Zoom. Allison is slowly learning American Sign Language and is LA/NY bicoastal. Follow her on Instagram @AllisonBibicoff. Please see more on her website.
