- The actor Ulrich Bettac worked among others at the noted Vienna Burgtheater where he also directed some plays besides his activity as an actor.
- He only continued his film career after World War II and became a busy support actor.
- His only movie as a director was "Knall und Fall als Hochstapler" (1952).
- His future career was still determined to the theater, in 1938/39 he took over the temporary management of the Burgtheater.
