Experienced Cinematographer with feature film, TV-serial, commercial and documentary skills. Bessonoff is the last camera assistant for cinematographer Georg I. Rerberg. (Rerberg is known as Tarkovsky's cinematographer, e.g. for the films "Mirror" and "Stalker")
Pauli Bessonoff is a Cinematographer, know for movies "Siivoton Juttu" (I Hired Two Contract Cleaners, 1997) , "Viisi Tytärtäni" (1997), "Viimeiset Mitalit" (2000), "Tuulikaappimaa" (2003) , "Jäät "(2010), and television -serie "Kotikatu" (1998 - 2012). Bessonoff has filmed many documentaries like "Siegh Heil Suomi" (1994) and "Karen&Grigori" (2014). Bessonoff also created an TV-spot "Thunderheart" which won GOLD (main award) at Promax Global Excellence, Los Angeles, category Best Sports Program General Image Spot (2013) . Since 2020, Bessonoff has been producing documentary films.
Education: Master of Arts / Cinema / Aalto University year1997 and bachelor's degree / Vocational teacher /Haaga-Helia School of Professional Teacher Education 2023. Bessonoff is an independent filmmaker and teaching cinema and cinematography in Stadin Ammattiopisto, Helsinki -Finland.
Since 2008 he has been a member of the Finnish Society of Cinematographers F.S.C .
