"I Regret If People Were Offended": Patrick Stewart Explains Picard’s Season 3 F-Bomb
Image
Patrick Stewart explains the use of the F-bomb by Picard in the special features of Star Trek: Picard season 3's home video release. Stewart felt the word choice was appropriate because Picard was almost out of control and had lost control. Showrunner Terry Matalas also defends the use of the F-bomb, stating it was a powerful and authentic moment between a father and son.

As noted by Screen Rant star Patrick Stewart has explained the reason behind Jean-Luc Picard's use of the F-bomb in the special features of Star Trek: Picard season 3's home video release.

The Star Trek series is the follow-up to Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Nemesis. Picard starred Stewart, Alison Phil, Michelle Hurd, Jeri Ryan, Santiago Cabrera, Alison Pill, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, Kay Bess, Orla Brady, and Ed Speleers. Picard premiered back in 2020 and followed Stewart's titular character.

Picard Season 3 Makes An Inevitable Computer Voice Change
Image
When Star Trek: Picard returns for season 3, there will be a new voice for Starfleet's 25th-century computers, which is an inevitable change. Picard season 3 reunites the complete cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation for one more mission to save the galaxy. The adventure begins when Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) sends her old friend, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), a coded message on his old USS Enterprise-d communicator pin.

Star Trek's computers, which are voice-activated and speak to the user, predicted today's Amazon Alexa and other interactive devices. Since Star Trek: The Original Series, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry was the voice of the Starship Enterprise's computer. Majel expanded her role to become the voice of Starfleet's computers in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. The "First Lady of Star Trek's" final performance as a Starfleet computer voice before her death was in J.

Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans Review – A Finale At War With Itself
Guillermo del Toro at an event for Splice (2009)
How much of the journey is worth it when you’re scratching your head at the destination? That’s the question one must confront in Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans.

Originating from the book series created by del Toro and Daniel Kaus, 2016 series Trollhunters kicked off Tales of Arcadia as part of Netflix’s quest to produce original animation for children. You don’t go into Trollhunters and its two series successors, 3Below and Wizards, expecting form-breaking storytelling for Western children’s cartoons, but each series had plenty to offer: Del Toro’s colorful realms with their own mythology, slapstick one-liners in the midst of swordplay, and colorful creatures from lovable Aaarrrgghh (Fred Tatasciore) to the paternal Blinky (Kelsey Grammar) with his teacher bravado.

All set in the sleepy town of Arcadia, Trollhunters explored the mounting responsibilities of a Chosen-One mantle held by a human boy...

Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans Film to Conclude Tales of Arcadia Saga in 2021
Mages et sorciers: Les contes d'Arcadia (2020)
You’re welcome, America. Yesterday, Den of Geek put Dreamworks and Netflix’s feet to the fire, requesting…nay, demanding that their animated adventure story Tales of Arcadia not end with the third installment, Wizards.

Wizards is the final installment of #TalesofArcadia…unless we can heckle @Netflix and @Dreamworks into more. https://t.co/w7XLgdPBR3

— Den of Geek News! (@DenofGeekUS) August 6, 2020

And just under 24 hours later, both corporate entities caved! Dreamworks and Netflix announced today that the Tales of Arcadia saga is getting a grand movie finale. Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans is set to premiere sometime in 2021.

“Team Trollhunters committed, about a decade ago, to try and push the boundaries of 3D CGI animation made for TV. We outlined a vast trilogy of interconnecting mythology and characters that we always hoped could culminate with a massive ‘all-stars reunion’,” creator and executive producer Guillermo del Toro said in a statement.
