- Tody Bernard was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Port Allen High School. He attended Nicholls State University and graduated in 1980 with a B.A. in Theatre and English with emphasis in acting and directing. He won the Best Actor Award at NSU in 1980.
