Ted Bergman sold his first television script, The Munsters, while still in college, yet girls continued to ignore him. A short time later he became the youngest staff writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, earning an Emmy nomination which he's never quite lived up to. His producing and writing credits range from The Hollywood Squares to All in the Family, Sanford and Son, What's Happening, Gimme a Break, The Garry Shandling Show and way too many unsold pilots like, Who Needs Friends?! and The al-Qaida Comedy Hour. Ted was born and grew up in Los Angeles. He has lived on the Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas and in the Northern California wine country. Now retired, he is writing books from the Honduran island of Roatan in the Caribbean.
