- Johnny Berardino, who changed his family name to Beradino, was also a baseball player for the Cleveland Indians team which won the 1948 World Series, although he did not play in the Series. In 1953, he retired from baseball after injuring a leg and returned to acting.

- Following his death, he was interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
