Donn Berdahl

Donn Delos Berdahl was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in the foothills of Northern California near Lake Tahoe. Playing any and all sports throughout his childhood, Donn attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, competing in basketball and golf for the university. While in school, he began acting in friends' film school projects at USC, Oxy, CalArts and many others. This led to attending the Brown/Baron Studio, where he completed a two year Meisner Masters program, along with meeting his wife Rosanna Iversen. Roles in Psycho Beach Party (LA Weekly Award and Drama-Logue Award for lead Comedy Performance), Double Impact, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and numerous commercials followed. Soon, Donn left the entertainment industry to pursue two other passions; wine-making, where he partnered to create the world's largest selling organic sulfite-free wine brands, selling the company in 2012 to a large conglomerate, and basketball officiating, which included two years in the NBA/D-League Developmental Program and thirteen years running as an NCAA Division I referee. Furthering his belief in organic farming, Donn is majority partner in the Pono Burger chain of gourmet grass-fed organic beef gastro pubs springing up throughout Southern California, and has re-entered the entertainment industry via executive producing The Better Half, acting in the film as well, along with creating/developing/writing a comic book series with Dark Horse Entertainment entitled The Forge.
