Lee Benton

Lee Benton was born on August 1, 1952 in Tampa, Florida. Her father, Lester, was an Evangelist while her mother, Earlene, was a Sunday School teacher. Lee performed Gospel songs at age twelve with her sister, Carolyn. After ten years of a successful modeling career, she landed in an acting job in Tampa. A director/producer discovered her and connected her with an agent. That agent brought her to Hollywood in 1982. Her most notable role was Jenny in the CBS mystery drama television series Mike Hammer (1984) starring Stacy Keach as the titular detective.
