Biography

Robert Bella is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked as an actor, director, writer, and producer in film, television, and theater. His television credits include: Director/Writer/Co-Executive Producer on The Rookie, Director on The Rookie: Feds, Writer/Producer on Castle, and also The Following.

He has worked as an ADR Director with numerous actors, including: Chevy Chase, Judi Dench, Jimmy Fallon, Whoopi Goldberg, Freddie Highmore, Harvey Keitel, William H. Macy, James McAvoy, Christina Ricci, and Jon Stewart.

Bella's film credits include: Director/Executive Producer of the cult-hit comedy Colin Fitz Lives!, Director/Writer/Executive Producer of The Realm - Awakening (Brooklyn Boy Productions). He also worked as a Post-Production Supervisor/Consultant for Amblin Entertainment on films such as: The Post, Ghost In The Shell, The Girl On The Train, Delivery Man, Lincoln, War Horse, and The Help.

Bella started out in theater where he worked on over one hundred plays. He's taught acting and directing classes for: ATC, NYU, and Harvard in the United States; NIDA, AFTRS, and the Actor's Centre in Australia; and The International Institute of Performing Arts in France.
