Eric Kissack's “The Gunfighter” is a finalist for the top prize at TheWrap's third annual 2014 ShortList Film Festival. Written by Kevin Tenglin, the story follows a weary gunfighter who walks into a bar, looking for a drink. What he finds instead is a building full of raunchy people and an audible, bloodthirsty narrator. The cast includes Shawn Parsons, Scott Beehner, Eileen O'Connell, Jordan Black and Timothy Brennan, though it's the unseen narrator voiced by “Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman who steals the show. Recently, CBS released the new,official,synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "NCIS" episode 21 of season 11. The episode is entitled, "Alleged," and it sounds like it'll be pretty intriguing as the murder of a Navy officer will be the focus of the NCIS team's latest investigation, and more. In the new,21st episode press release: The NCIS team is going to have to determine if the murder of a Navy officer is linked to a random bar fight or his knowledge of an attack on a fellow female officer. Press release number 2: After a Navy officer is found dead on a rural road, the NCIS team will have to ascertain if the murder was the result of a bar fight or because he knew too much about an attack on a fellow female officer. In the meantime, Dinozzo and McGee are going to begin a juice cleanse to purge their bodies of impurities.

Chicago – We’re doing something we’ve never done before at HollywoodChicago.com — reviewing a TV show that isn’t on the air…yet. Acclaimed producer Michael Wilson, a veteran of TV comedy from years working on “Saturday Night Live,” “Politically Incorrect,” and “Burn Notice,” is shopping a pilot for a new sketch comedy series called “The Men’s Room” and was kind enough to grant us access to a copy. As I work my way through the dozens of new shows that the networks have deemed worthy of spots on their 2012-13 schedules, it’s interesting to see something at this stage of the process, before it’s been given a green light. I use the word “before” because I’m pretty confident that a network will pick it up. They’d be stupid not to given the fact that it’s better than half of the shows already...

Producer/Manager Larry Thompson, who has his hands full at the moment with the Lindsay Lohan-starring telefilm Liz & Dick, produced by his company, is also about to take out a male-skewing sketch comedy pilot. Thompson has teamed with producer Michael Wilson (Saturday Night Live, Politically Incorrect) on the project. Wilson financed and produced the completed pilot, said to be in the vein of such sketch-comedy shows as The Kids in The Hall, The State and Monty Python’s Flying Circus and described by Wilson as a show “by guys, for guys who like sketch comedy.” The ensemble cast features performers from The Groundlings and the Second City and includes Robert Belushi, Scott Beehner, Cooper Barnes, Sitara Falcon, T’Shaun Barrett, Bruce Wexler, Jo Newman, Mark Gagliardi and Marta McGonagle. The pilot will be shopped shortly by the Gersh Agency.

Worst Week is a quirky, single-camera sitcom that follows unlucky Sam Briggs (Kyle Bornheimer) as he tries to make a good impression on the family of his pregnant fiance. Though he's very well-intentioned, things just go from bad to worse when Sam's around. A remake of a UK sitcom, the regular cast also includes Erinn Hayes, Nancy Lenehan, and Kurtwood Smith, with recurring roles played by Scott Beehner, Nick Kroll, Jessica St. Clair, Hayes MacArthur, Parris Mosteller, RonReaco Lee, and Brooke Nevin.
