Lloyd Beebe is known for his work on Vanishing Prairie (1954), White Wilderness (1958), The Incredible Journey (1963), Charlie, the Lonesome Cougar (1967) and A Tale of Two Critters (1977). He was married to Catherine Beebe for 71 years. He died on January 6, 2011 in Sequim, Washington, USA. She died two days later.

Trivia
Former woodsman, hunter, and Arctic explorer who later became an animal trainer and with his wife, Catherine. Founded the Olympic Game Farm which served as the location for Disney wildlife features ("Disney's Wild Animal Ranch") from the 1950's. The farm, which was home to a variety of animal stars from bears and cougars to lions and jaguars, was opened to the public in 1972.
