Engaged in a Masters program in film at UNC-Chapel Hill, Robbie was lured to Wilmington, NC in 1985 by the possibility of working at the nascent Dino DeLaurentiis Film Studio. He got lucky and ended up with a 30 plus year career in film, made a lot of friends and shared a lot of life experiences along the way. It's not a bad way to make a living.
