He started his career in the theater in 1909 and won right away, despite his young age, a leading position in the Society of Flavio Andò, which included players of the caliber of Evelina Paoli and Antonio Gandusio in 1911 he is in the company with Ruggero Ruggeri.
In 1912 he became part of one of the companies represented in Italy and abroad the most popular works of the playwright Sem Benelli of Prato (as "La cena delle beffe" and "L'amore dei tre re"), starring opposite "Gualtiero Tumiati" and Arnaldo Ninchi, until 1932 when he was hired by EIAR.
