She was married to Charles Thomas Hvass Sr. and Francis X. Bushman. She died on August 18, 1982 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

  • Mother with Francis X. Bushman of Richard Stansbury Bushman, who later changed his name to Bayne, and killed himself in 1957.
  • Wide-eyed, brunette silent star, with Essanay in Chicago from 1912. She married Francis X. Bushman, often co-starring in his films. Regarded as Hollywood's first romantic screen couple, Bayne and Bushman moved to Metro (1916-18), where they made some of their most popular films. Following a public divorce in 1924, Bayne's career faltered and she retired from films a year later, though continuing to appear on stage until the 1950s.
