Dmitry Barshevsky was born in Moscow, USSR [now Russia]. He is a director and producer, known for Moscow Saga (2004), Heavy sand (2008) and Risk (1988). He became a citizen of Israel. He made a feature-documentary film "Never again" (2022) about Shoa. He lives in Latvia. He is married.
