- Summer Bartholomew was born on November 20, 1951 in Merced, California, USA. She is an actress, known for Les évadés du triangle d'or (1983), Family Feud (1976) and The Mike Douglas Show (1961).
- Was Miss USA 1975 and also 2nd runner-up at the 1975 Miss Universe pageant.
- Although she was born in November, Summer was named six months later, for the character Summer Olsen in the comic strip "Steve Canyon", by Milton Caniff.
- Tried out to fill the letter turner job on Wheel of Fortune (1975) after Susan Stafford left in 1982. The other tryouts were Vicki Iovine and Vanna White. The job was given to White after six weeks of tryouts, and she is also on the syndicated version to this day.
- Co-winner of Miss Photogenic at Miss Universe 1975.
