Model. Stage/television actress. Businesswoman. The only thing you can't call Debbie Barker is "just another beautiful face". ("Beautiful" goes quite without saying.)
This lovely blonde hails from Nelsonville, Ohio. Bolstered by her striking looks, as well as the support and encouragement of her family (particularly her mom Kate), Debbie promptly found work posing for catalogs and print ads. She soon became well-versed in commercial-acting and camera-technique.
And then there was television. Beginning with a small, uncredited role on "Ryan's Hope" in 1986, Barker moved up fast. She appeared in a variety of commercials (notably for Twix cookie-bars)...along with episodes of "Down & Out in Beverly Hills," "Mr. Belvedere", "Rags to Riches", "Boys Will Be Boys", "Matlock", "Alien Nation", "Night Court", "Babes", "Dragnet", "They Came From Outer Space", "Santa Barbara", and "Walker, Texas Ranger". Her film credits include "The Stepford Children", "Wolfpack", and "Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story".
While the screen did much for Barker, it could not hold her. In 1994, she shifted her focus to additional stage-work (both on- and off-Broadway) and more modeling. She made her Broadway debut in "The Innocents", while serving as the face of Etam Goldwell. Debbie also lent her services as an ambassador to numerous fashion companies, in particular Skin-Marvel and The Fab-you-less Card. Then, in 2005, she started a business of her own: Looking Gorgeous.
