Betty was named Macy's Child Star of the Year in the 1940's, and appeared in Show Boat on Broadway.

While under contract as a young teenager with RKO, Betina was introduced to Howard Hughes. Mr. Hughes took over her contract and she became his protege for more than ten years.

A longtime resident of Beverly Hills, she eventually moved to Orange County and finally Las Vegas, where she quietly and peacefully lived out her final years.
