Lucknow, Feb 1: "Vishwaroop", the Hindi version of Kamal Haasan's multi-lingual movie "Vishwaroopam", released in Uttar Pradesh Friday amid tight security.

The film is being screened in five multiplexes and two single screen theatres here, officials told Ians.

Indian Film Dance Directors Association (Ifdda) hosted an event to felicitate the veteran and present day choreographers on the occasion of Choreographers' Day on Jan 9. Present at the event were choreographers Vaibhavi Merchant, Saroj Khan, Farah Khan, Ahmed Khan, Remo D'Souza, Terence Lewis, Longinus Fernandes, Shruti Merchant, Umesh Jadhav, Seemaa Desai, Madhav Kishan, Baba Harman, Cinoo Kumar, and many more. Ifdda committee members Pappu Khanna, Rajendra Suvanam, Jay Borade and Bhupendra Sayan (Bhupi) and other members welcomed all the choreographers and made sure the arrangements were proper.
