    • Roma Bahn was born on October 30, 1896 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for De l'aube à minuit (1920), Le songe de Madame Butterfly (1939) and Unheimliche Geschichten (1932). She was married to Hugo Häring, Eda Rost and Karl Heinz Martin. She died on January 11, 1975 in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany.

  • German stage and screen actress, trained at Max Reinhardt's Schauspielschule des Deutschen Theaters. First achieved prominence as Polly Peachum in Brecht's "Threepenny Opera" during its August 1928 premiere on the Berlin stage. She had long residencies at the Hebbel Theater (1945-51) and the Schillertheater (1951-62) and also acted in films from silent days, albeit in supporting or character roles. As a voice-over performer, she dubbed for English-speaking actresses Mary Astor, Kay Medford, Betty Davis, Mildred Dunnock and Gladys Cooper.
  • Her cinematical activity dropped off after the war.
  • Roma Bahn continued her film career successfully in the 30's and took part in many well-known movies till 1945.
  • She continued her career in the war time undiminished and impersonated roles in movies like "Frau Luna" (1941), "Maske in Blau" (1942), "Die Entlassung" (1942), "Altes Herz wird wieder jung" (1943) and "Um neun kommt Harald" (1944).
  • The actress Roma Bahn already began her film career in 1919, but in the next years especially the stages became a very grateful place.
