Yuriy Avsharov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, theater director, teacher. People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

In 1961 he graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre School, specializing in 'Actor of Drama Theatre and Cinema', course of Vladimir Etush.
