  • Trivia
It is believed that Frank J Arlton was the nephew of John Lawrence Toole, the famous 19th Century Comedic Actor, because of a memoir by Bram Stoker referring to him as such. Frank was close to John Lawrence, particularly towards the end of his life in Brighton and was related. Frank's mother, Matilda Elizabeth Carlton (nee Bowden) was actually John Lawrence's cousin. His mother (Elizabeth Bertout) was the sister of Frank's grandmother (Sophia Matilda Bertout).
