Basil Appleby

With his wife, actress Anne Padwick, he is the father of Lucy Appleby and Suky Appleby, who have also acted, and the grandfather of actors Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Ben Lloyd-Hughes. Towards the end of his life he lived in Bad Ischl, Austria.
