The cast of Call the Midwife includes: Jenny Agutter, Linda Bassett, Pam Ferris, Judy Parfitt, Helen George, Bryony Hannah, Laura Main, Emerald Fennell, Charlotte Ritchie, Victoria Yeates, Ben Caplan, Stephen McGann, Cliff Parisi, Annabelle Apsion, and Kate Lamb. Vanessa Redgrave voices the matured version of Jennifer Worth. The thalidomide-triggered birth defect crisis is featured, this season.

It's the last in the current series of Call the Midwife - and, as has become the norm, expect a tear-jerking finale from the nuns of Nonnatus House.

Trixie (Helen George) and Sister Mary Cynthia (Bryony Hannah) support a deaf mother-to-be, while another patient's morning sickness develops into something more troubling and Fred (Cliff Parisi) may be forced to choose between Violet (Annabelle Apsion) and his hostile daughter.

Being Human's Aidan Turner fronts a "sexy" new adaptation of the classic novels, playing dashing Ross Poldark in this epic 8-parter.

Set in late 18th-century Cornwall, Poldark follows Ross as he returns from having fought in the American War of Independence, only to find that the life he left behind no longer exists.
