A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, filmmaker John J.Anderson has spent the last two decades honing his craft as a highly sought-after producer. Entering the industry in the mid 1980s, Anderson worked almost exclusively on the west coast, particularly in Los Angeles, California as he developed his career and expertise in both the entertainment and film education industries, including working as a producer for Entertainment Tonight. He then worked as Instructor at Full Sail Center in Orlando, Florida, developing curriculum, delivering lectures and training students. During his tenure at a host of professional firms, Anderson garnered many accolades for his work, including the Prime Time Emmy® A&E Prime Time Emmy 1997 Award, International Telly® and Addy® awards.

After returning to New Orleans, Anderson played a large role in developing the now famous Louisiana Tax Incentive program, responsible for the meteoric rise and sustainable growth of the film industry there, now ranked third in production behind only California and New York, and largely in part to Anderson's perseverance and mettle in developing talent, procuring quality projects and securing major contracts for the region.

Anderson's success and reputation grew quickly and he acknowledged that this success is in fact due to his time spent working in the trenches of the television industry and in independent productions. Anderson's company credibility continued to rise as he and his production company received three Golden Globe® nominations including one win for Best Actor in the TV mini-series, Elvis. Anderson's company projects were also honored with an unprecedented twelve Emmy® nominations in 2005, including a nod for Best Producer.

Anderson's strengths are not limited to the production arena alone. John is also well versed in production financing as Louisiana's tax incentives have afforded those with Savior fare to fully engage in custom blends of debt and equity factors, distribution modeling and low-negative cost structuring.

Anderson's companies have financed and produced films that have been distributed by Hollywood heavyweights such as Sony Pictures, Lion's Gate, Weinstein, Hyde Park and Element Films, to name a few. Most recently, Bug, directed by Academy Award® winner William Friedkin and starring Ashley Judd and Harry Connick, Jr., was selected to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France. Five Fingers, starring Ryan Phillippe and Laurence Fishburne, premiered at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival in April of 2006. Shooting Gallery, with Vhing Rhames, Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Rosalind Sanchez, distributed through Blockbuster, and Deal, featuring Burt Reynolds, are two of Anderson's latest offerings. Anderson's productions have been broadcast on CBS, Lifetime, A&E, MTV, VH1, USA Network and the Travel Channel.&

John's new firm, Studios, will focus on long-term strategies to develop a plethora of projects, including but not limited to a series of films (produced in collaboration Andertainment Group who intends to provide the equity to finance three to four films per year) with budgets in the $1/5 million range. Projects in development by Andertainment include a film adaptation of pulp fiction writer Jim Thompson's novel "Nothing More Than Murder" and two reality television shows. The Andertainment Group's new offices will be located in a 128,000 square foot facility near downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. The space will lodge producers and crew and also be home for Avid and ProTools Suites for world-class post production. Anderson's skills and leadership will focus on developing projects under the new Studio identity and Andertainment Group brand.
