    • Herbert Anderson was born on March 30, 1917 in Oakland, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Fiancée contre remboursement (1941), Des agents très spéciaux (1964) and Bastogne (1949). He was married to Mary Virginia Palmer. He died on June 11, 1994 in Palm Springs, California, USA.

  • Tall, bespectacled character actor, who started his career under contract to Warner Brothers in 1940. Mostly remembered as father to the titular 'Dennis the Menace' of TV fame. Retired from acting in 1982, following heart surgery.
  • Appeared in the first episode of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.
  • Appeared in The Brady Bunch (1969) episode, Is There a Doctor in the House? (1969), as a doctor. In that episode, in one scene, four TV parents were shown together: Robert Reed and Florence Henderson (Mike and Carol Brady - The Brady Bunch (1969)), Marion Ross (Marion Cunningham - Happy Days - Les jours heureux (1974)) and Herbert Anderson (Henry Mitchell - Denis la petite peste (1959)). Ross also played a doctor in that episode.
