This Is How They Created The Mini-Ashes For Army Of Darkness
Image
In the early 1990s, Sam Raimi was a low-budget horror maestro who'd made the leap to studio filmmaking without sacrificing his gonzo visual style. Riding high off the commercial success of 1990's "Darkman," a deliriously fun and funky comic-book riff that still stands as one of the best superhero movies ever made, Raimi could pretty much call his shot. So he did. And that's how Universal Pictures bankrolled the third installment of a horror series that most people had never heard of, let alone seen.

The ending of "Evil Dead 2," which dropped the modern-day hero of the first two, tenuously linked movies, in the Middle Ages was an unexpected howler of a punchline. Under no circumstances did I expect Raimi would actually make a third movie set in medieval times. That would be expensive. And silly. Walker First Look: Jared Padalecki Transforms Into Texas Ranger
Image
Sam Winchester may be gone, but Walker is just getting started — and we finally have the photographic evidence to prove it.

The first image of Supernatural vet Jared Padalecki donning his Texas Ranger costume for the upcoming CW reboot leaked onto the Interwebs late Friday, sending social media into a tizzy. The image features JPad, who’s also sporting a shorter ‘do for his new role, alongside guest star Deke Anderson on set in Austin, Texas. The photo appears to have originated on Anderson’s IMDb page.

Exclusive Video Interview: Nick Jones Jr. And Deke Anderson From Green Lantern
Comicpalooza definitely had a little bit of everything for everyone, including some of the cast from Green Lantern. I got to hangout and even clown around with Nick Jones Jr. who plays Jon Stewart and Deke Anderson who plays 4 Star General Caven in the big screen DC comic book adaptation this summer. I got to ask just a few questions to each of them and wanted to share with our Tyrants!

The video interviews are short but we had a lot of fun doing them. I guess I'll call these video interviews part of my Versus line of interviews now and don't even listen to me counting them down. Green Lantern hits theaters on June 17th, enjoy!
