  • After being a popular child star in the 1950s, he made his debut as stage actor in 1961.
  • Appearing on Le renard (1977) since the show's debut in 1977, he is Germany's current senior TV cop.
  • As an adult actor, he became best known to audiences as Detective Gerd Heymann in the TV police series Der Alte.
  • Voiced Paul Stanley for the German dub of Kiss contre les fantômes (1978).
  • His hobbies are skiing, motor bike and mountain bike riding.
  • Curly-haired German child star who began acting with the Bayerischen Rundfunk. He debuted on screen at the age of eleven in the German-French co-production Marianne de ma jeunesse, directed by Julien Duvivier. Hen then appeared as a member of Die Trapp-Familie (1956) andits sequel Die Trapp-Familie in Amerika (1958). His biggest successes were juvenile leads in Heimatfilms and adventure yarns during the 60s, especially popular in the excellent four-part miniseries Die Schatzinsel (as Jim Hawkins), based on the famous novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.
