Well, there was definitely some intriguing heroes revealed in the HD version of Superman's Hall of Justice metahuman mural.

Some of the initial guesses from the low-res screengrabs of the scene were accurate, but others were way off.

Jay Garrick turned out to be Max Mercury, Amethyst ended up being Madame Xanadu, and Doctor Fate was revealed to be Maxwell Lord of all people.

As promised, James Gunn has finally released the Hall of Justice's mural from Superman. Charting the history of metahumans in the Dcu, it features a total of 26 characters, many of whom have ties to present-day superheroes such as Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and The Flash.

Now, we have some hi-res shots of the mural, along with a breakdown of every character who appears in it.

The extent of Gunn's plans for this lot beyond being a fun Easter Egg for hardcore DC Comics fans remains to be seen. However, if they're all considered important to the Dcu's past, we'd imagine at least a few of them will show up in this shared world sooner rather than later.

Several new characters have been confirmed for the new DC Universe after appearing in Superman's biggest Easter egg. James Gunn has chosen to start the Dcu with a lot of world-building. The franchise is being praised for how the world feels lived-in, with the first projects in the Dcu's Chapter One setting up many characters and locations for the future.

The Dcu's canon characters include major players, such as Superman, Green Lantern, and Amanda Waller, as well as lesser-known characters, like the rest of the Creature Commandos crew and Metamorpho. Superman's expansive cast introduced the Justice Gang to the Dcu, and in their headquarters was Superman's biggest Easter egg, which teased many more heroes that exist in the Dcu.

Wazzup! The Wayans Bros. are headed back to the world of “Scary Movie,” reuniting for the first time in 18 years.

The brothers are writing an original script for the franchise reboot, which was announced at CinemaCon in April. Rick Alvarez will also write and produce alongside the Wayans Bros.

The “Scary Movie” series was developed by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Keenen Ivory Wayans. Keenen Ivory Wayans wrote and directed the first two films, while Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans wrote and starred in the first two films. This upcoming installment will be the sixth film in the franchise.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the new ‘Scary Movie’ and work with each other again. This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that happen again,” Marlon, Shawn and Keenen said in a statement.

Miramax and Paramount are resurrecting the Scary Movie franchise with a brand new reboot movie, and, per Deadline, they’ve brought back the spoof franchise’s originators: the Wayans Brothers!

The new Scary Movie is expected next year for a theatrical release.

An unresolved part of Translucent's storyline in The Boys may reveal a significant villain for season 4. Played by Alex Hassell, Translucent had the ability to turn invisible and stop bullets due to his carbon metamaterial skin. Like many members of the Seven, however, Translucent often misused his superpowers to prey on unsuspecting innocents. Translucent would become invisible so that he could voyeuristically watch women in Vought Tower's bathrooms.

Translucent was not only the first Supe to die in The Boys season 1, but also the first member of the Seven to be killed by Jack Quaid's Hughie Campbell. Netflix has dropped the trailer for the eight-episode second season of “Shadow and Bone.” The second season depicts Alina Starkov, played by Jessie Mei Li, on the run in an effort to bring down the Shadow Fold and save Ravka. However, General Kirigan (played by Ben Barnes) is also back and this time has an army of shadow monsters behind him.

The Season 2 cast includes also includes Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Danielle Galligan, Daisy Head, Calahan Skogman, Lewis Tan, Anna Leong Brophy, Jack Wolfe and Patrick Gibson.

Comedian Marlon Wayans’ third comedy special for HBO Max, “Marlon Wayans: God Loves Me” will address “the slap” of Chris Rock by Will Smith that took place at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony.

The hourlong performance was filmed at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta. It will debut March 2 on the streamer.

After recounting what happened at the 2022 Oscars, Wayans jokes, “That had nothing to do Will, l nothing to do with Jadam nothing do with Chris. It’s my fault.”

Some of Marlon Wayans’ celebrity friends will be challenged to face their biggest fears in VR in a new original series for Meta. Oh Hell No…with Marlon Wayans is set to premiere Wednesday, October 26.

Hosted by Wayans, the six-episode series, executive produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, will debut will one episode weekly at 9 am Pt/12 pm Et on Wayans’ Facebook and Instagram pages. Additionally, Meta Quest 2 users can view the series’ exclusive immersive VR experience on Meta Quest TV.

Using a Meta Quest 2 VR headset, celeb guests Anthony Anderson, Kelly Rowland, Bryce Hall, Nikki Bella & Brie Bella, Loren Gray, and Loni Love will confront their fears of phasmophobia (ghosts), galeophobia (ocean/sharks), aerophobia (flying), acrophobia (heights), claustrophobia (confined spaces), and zoophobia (animals).

Marlon Wayans and the minds behind South Side and Sherman’s Showcase are teaming up at Starz.

The premium cable outlet is developing a comedy series called Book of Marlon, inspired by Wayans’ life and career. Wayans and his producing partner Rick Alvarez will write the pilot episode with Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin, co-creators of HBO Max’s South Side (with Sultan Salahuddin) and IFC/AMC’s Sherman’s Showcase. (Riddle also co-starred in Wayans’ 2016-17 NBC comedy Marlon.)

Art will imitate life very, very closely for Marlon Wayans, who is set to lead an autobiographical comedy series now in development at Starz.

Wayans will star in, co-write and executive-produce Book of Marlon, a half-hour project inspired by the comedian’s life and career. He’ll play a fictionalized version of himself, “exploring his professional life as a comedian and actor, as well as his personal life as he attempts to reconcile being a good person and loving father with being Marlon,” the official synopsis reads.
