    In 1939, he filed a $250,000 plagiarism lawsuit against RKO Radio Pictures, Walt Disney Enterprises, Irving Berlin Inc. and Frank Churchill. The claim was that his composition entitled 'Russian Soldiers' Song' had formed the basis for 'Whistle While You Work' from "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs".
