Swansea will be looking to put their losing start to the Premier League behind them as they take on Romanian team Petrolul Ploiesti at the Liberty Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Swans may be without Nathan Dyer after he picked up a hamstring injury against Manchester United but manager Michael Laudrup should call on Wilfried Bony and Pablo Hernandez to start the game after both players were forced to the bench last weekend. Jonathan de Guzman, however, will have to wait until at least Sunday before making his return to the Swansea squad.
Whilst the visitors are one of the more lesser known clubs left in the competition, the Romanians have already earned their stripes by knocking out Vitesse Arnhem in the third qualifying round. By defeating the Dutch side, Petrolul have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their history.
