Jeanne Allen(I)
- Actress
Jeanne Marie Frances Allen was reared in Manhattan Beach, California, a
suburb of Los Angeles. Following in the footsteps of her older sister
Madison Allen, Jeanne began auditioning for various roles at the age of nine
months. Her first booking was a commercial for the German Add Train
company at age four, and she continued to book commercials throughout
childhood. Jeanne's acting career picked up at age eight, when she
booked her first feature length film, Le voeu de toute une vie (1998). During this time,
Jeanne was enrolled in school at American Martyrs School in Manhattan
Beach; she continued at this school until she graduated in the eighth grade.
Upon graduating from American Martyrs School, Jeanne enrolled in Mira
Costa High School for the remainder of her primary schooling. In 2004,
Jeanne earned a special role on The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited (2004), that
combined her two loves - acting and dancing. After her rewarding
experience on "The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited", Jeanne began to dabble
in voice-overs. She lent her voice to various television shows,
including Malcolm (2000). Although Jeanne's passion for acting
had not faded, she decided to take a brief hiatus from the acting world
to enroll in college at the University of Texas at Austin.
