Sister is actress and Miss India 1967 Naqi Jehan. She married Vikram Kamdar and converted changing her name to Nandini.

Sometimes mistaken for Aamir Khan's step brother Haider Ali ( Hyder Khan). This is due to Aamir's step brother constantly changing his screen name.
