Taking over the space at 7507 Melrose Avenue — previously home to the first-ever Johnny Rockets — in Los Angeles, Calif., the Peach Pit will be open for reservations for the evening of Thursday, August 1 (from 7-10 p.m.), as well as for lunch and dinner on Friday, August 2 (12-5 p.m. and then again from 7-10 p.m.), and for lunch (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) on Saturday, August 3. Fox has set a premiere date for its “Beverly Hills, 90210” revival series, the network announced in a new teaser released on Wednesday.

The six-episode event series, which will reunite much of the cast from the original hit ’90s teen drama with their former network, is set to debut on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The new show, titled “BH90210,” will feature original cast members Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling. In a meta twist, the revival will feature the original cast members playing heightened versions of themselves — “with a healthy dose of irreverence” — as they try to get revival of their old show off the ground.

Original Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty is set to join her former co-stars – Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling – for BH90210, Fox’s highly anticipated new series airing this summer.

The news is also bittersweet, as her participation will highlight the glaring absence of their friend and castmate, Luke Perry.

It's also possible that tragic circumstances led to Doherty changing her mind about participation, as it's not difficult to imagine the group of friends found solace in each other during their time of grief.

Shannen Doherty is set to reprise the role of Brenda Walsh in Fox’s upcoming “BH90210” series, Variety has learned.

She will join fellow original “Beverly Hills, 90210” cast members Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling, who have all already signed on to the project. The six-episode series is set to air this summer.

Coming 19 years after the original series finished airing, the new show will feature the seven former teen idols playing “heightened versions of themselves with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.”

Doherty is also known for her roles in various other TV series, including “Charmed,” “Little House on the Prairie” and “Our House.” Recently, she returned to another of her most famous roles, playing a part in the reimagined version of “Heathers.” Doherty played Heather Duke in the original.

Tori Spelling confirmed Friday what has been talked about for months: a “Beverly Hills, 90210” reboot is coming with most of the original cast.

It looks like our early Christmas present might not be exactly what we were expecting. On Dec. 20, news dropped that a "reboot" of the iconic Beverly Hills, 90210 was being pitched around to various networks. The project, which is reportedly in early development, was described as an "untraditional reboot," in the sense that the actors "are not reprising their original characters."
