It almost featured the Dceu introduction of the Penguin, but Matt Reeves' The Batmanprevented that.

With production finally underway for Euphoria season 3, actor Jacob Elordi has revealed an uncertainty about his fellow cast members. In a Variety cover shoot interview, Elordi shared that he’s unsure whether his co-stars’ characters are also experiencing the same time jump as his. He’s currently promoting Netflix’s Frankenstein, and during this shoot, he told Variety,

I don’t know what anyone else is doing. It’s all quite separate.

Elordi also shared that he’s happy to be back, and the show is finally moving forward after delays dating back to 2022. HBO began filming in February 2025, nearly four years after Season 2 aired. The long delay was caused by the 2023 WGA strike,...

‘Nobody 2’ Star Sharon Stone Says Her Unhinged Villain Character Was Inspired by the ‘Cruelty’ of Social Media: ‘There’s a Lot of Pent-Up Feelings … That I Put on the Screen’
Image
Bob Odenkirk sent Sharon Stone a note asking her to be in “Nobody 2” after they met for the first time at the Golden Globes.

“She was kind to me, said hi to me and I thought, ‘Holy cow, Sharon Stone!’” Odenkirk told me Monday at the “Nobody 2” premiere at the Tcl Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. “Then we had this big bad villain and part of the fun of this to me is I want a regular guy to be ending up in a James Bond film. Starts in the real world, ends up in a film. And we needed a big villain, a big presence, a big personality. I wondered if Sharon would be willing to be that and she said yes… She owns the third act entirely.”

The sequel to 2021’s “Nobody” finds Odenkirk’s assassin character Hutch Mansell facing off against Stone as evil bootlegger Lendina.

Liam Neeson's Underseen 25% Rotten Tomatoes Score Crime Thriller Is a Streaming Sleeper Hit
Image
It's been a while since star Liam Neeson could be counted on to deliver the goods every time you'd see his face on an action movie poster. But these days, he's been having more difficulty at the box office than he used to. His last film, Ice Road: Vengeance, was only given a token theatrical release. The ones before that — films such as The Marksman, Absolution, Retribution, and Memory — also got lost in oblivion. But among these action vehicles was an anomaly, the period noir Marlowe. Neeson played the iconic detective Philip Marlowe in the film, which tanked at the box office and with critics, but is witnessing something of a resurgence on streaming.

Directed by Neil Jordan and co-written by The Departed's William Monahan, Marlowe was the eighth-most-watched movie on HBO Max on July 27. It outperformed The Northman and Final Destination 2, accumulating a total of 115 points. Marlowe...

Image
What Do We Know About the long-awaited third season of HBO drama Euphoria? More than you may think. With three years having elapsed since the acclaimed second season of Sam Levinson’s teen drama premiered, stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer have exploded in popularity, leaving fans desperate for new episodes of the show. From plot, casting news, and more, let’s dive in and look at what is coming up in the third season of Euphoria.

Why has it taken so long for Season 3 to happen?

Initially, the third season was slated for 2023 production and release, but that was delayed by production preparations and then by the Writers’ Guild and SAG strikes. With HBO then announcing a 2025 premiere date to give creator Sam Levinson and the writing staff time to ready the new episodes, production was once again disrupted in March 2024 with an indefinite hiatus that put the...

'The A-Team's Melinda Culea Finally Reveals Why She Left the Series After Season 2
Image
Melinda Culea, who starred in the unforgettable NBC Special Forces series The A-Team, is finally opening up about why she left, and it’s been a long time coming. For the first 24 episodes of that series, the iconic actress portrayed journalist Amy Amanda Allen, better known as “Triple A,” aiding and abetting the team of mercenaries who were led by John “Hannibal” Smith (George Peppard). Others on the team included the smooth-talking Faceman (Dirk Benedict); the odd pilot “Howling Mad” Murdock (Dwight Schultz); and lastly, the tough-as-nails B.A. Baracus, portrayed by Mr. T.

Prior to Culea’s exit from The A-Team, nothing appeared suspicious, but there was talk about her dissatisfaction with the development of her character. However, it was eventually suggested that her former co-star Peppard was a major reason for her leaving. Even in a 1985 interview with journalist Ian Harmer, Peppard himself declared that there was no...

10 Harsh Realities of Rewatching Lost 21 Years Later
Image
Whether someone watched it as it aired or first discovered Loston streaming, there is nothing quite like watching it the first time. Every new character, question or mystery drives the viewer onward through the seasons. However, no show is truly perfect, and given the way Lost was made, it wears many of its mistakes on its grass-stained sleeves.

This is not to say the show isn't great or worth rewatching. Rather, that going back to the show for the second, third or even tenth time can come with its own drawbacks. Spending time with the castaways on the island is always fun, but that doesn't mean it is the same kind of fun as it used to be when first discovering the series 21 years ago or more recently on streaming.

Rewatching Lost Means Making a Big Commitment to the Show It's Not a Series That Lends Itself to Piecemeal Viewing...

Where Was Lost Filmed? Every Major Location Explained
Image
"Lost" is one of the biggest and most important TV shows of the 2000s. It forever changed the way we think about network TV, helping bring about an era of serialization, high-concept genre shows, and mystery box storytelling. Before we all got glued to social media discussing the latest "Severance" theory or sharing our shock at the latest big "House of the Dragon" death, it was "Lost" that had the whole world obsessing over theories, ships, and twists. By the time it ended, "Lost" went out with one of the most discussed and analyzed finales in modern TV history.

This is a show with a big legacy. Michael Giacchino's score remains the best TV soundtrack, its characters are memorable and the cast diverse, marking a genuinely good stride for representation on TV. Yet the legacy of "Lost" is also problematic, with that same diverse cast also being, in some cases,...

Notably absent from the new season’s casting news is Storm Reid.

“Euphoria” resumed production this week for its long-awaited third season. The show was marred by delays caused by the Covid pandemic as well as the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Dominic Fike Sets ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Return (Exclusive)
Image
Dominic Fike is returning for Season 3 of “Euphoria.”

While he was left off a list of new and returning cast members released by HBO on Friday, Variety can exclusively report that the “3 Nights” singer and actor will indeed reprise his role as Elliot in Sam Levinson’s hit high school drama. Fike is set to shoot a couple of scenes for the show next week, sources say.

HBO declined to comment.

Fike joined “Euphoria” in its second season, which premiered in January 2022. He played a guitar-slinging, drug-addicted teen who befriends Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer), wrapping them up in a messy love triangle and serving as an obstacle to Rue’s sobriety. Fike’s talents as a Grammy-nominated recording artist were highlighted in the Season 2 finale, as Elliot performs an original song on the acoustic guitar for Rue. Fike and Zendaya released a version of “Elliot’s Song” on music streaming services.
