George Adams is the Creative Director of Gambit Media Group. Founded with partner Liz Collins, Gambit creates and produces high end TV drama primarily for the International market.
George started his career at the BBC in London where he worked as Senior Production Executive for BBC Independent Drama before joining Carlton TV as Executive in Charge of Production - Drama. He worked as VP Head of Drama and Business Affairs for Golden Square Pictures (a joint venture with Sony/Columbia Tri-Star) and as Head of Drama Production at Granada TV before leaving London in 2009.
In Australia George has worked as Head of Production for Granada Productions, Completion Guarantor with FACB and as Head of Production at December Media. He has EP'ed Wolf Creek and Hidden Universe (IMAX) and created ABC TV drama 'Bed Of Roses' and award winning 'The Doctor Blake Mysteries', now in its fifth season. He produced International award-winning shows such as, Australia on Trial, The Doctor Blake Mysteries Seasons One through Five and the award-winning UK TV drama co-production Mrs Biggs.
