We Have Your Husband, starring Esai Morales, premieres tonight (8 pm, Lifetime)
Just a reminder that Esai Morales gets kidnapped in the Lifetime film We Have Your Husband tonight at 8 pm.

If you're in the right region, you can see the trailer on Lifetime's site.

Esai was on Ktla News the other day to talk about the film and some of the issues it raises. You can watch the interview here. It includes a couple of clips from the film.

Here is the synopsis:

The chilling true story of one woman’s fight to get her husband released from the hands of kidnappers in Mexico is brought to life in the Lifetime Original Movie, “We Have Your Husband.”

American-born Jayne Valseca (Teri Polo, Meet the Parents, Man Up), her husband Eduardo (Esai Morales, NYPD Blue), the son of a legendary Mexican newspaper publisher, and their two children live an idyllic life on their 1,000 acre ranch outside of a peaceful Mexico town. But...

Blood & Chrome update, new film for Esai Morales, Leah Gibson in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, new interviews with Sasha Roiz and Scott Porter
Airlock Alpha has the first report from the Battlestar panel at Comic-Con. Richard Hatch, Kevin Grazier, Michael Nankin and Lili Bordan were there, and Michael Taylor had to skip because of surgery. Get better soon, Michael Taylor.

Here is what is happening with Blood and Chrome:

The pilot is not expected to be completed until at least October, especially since the sets were extremely minimal, Bordan said. Hatch told the crowd that Syfy plans to air "Blood & Chrome" as a movie event first, and a backdoor pilot, similar to what was done with "Caprica." It looks like the network is not spending the money to do a miniseries, like it did with "Battlestar Galactica."Also, unless there was a misunderstanding at the panel, they are/were exploring the possibility of showing it in 3D. Read the whole article for more details.

Esai Morales has a new film in the works.

John Schneider at an event for Nip/Tuck (2003)
Threesome invited to Hallmark's 'Dance'
John Schneider at an event for Nip/Tuck (2003)
John Schneider, Roma Downey and Brooke Nevin have been tapped to star in "Wedding Dance," a Hallmark Channel original movie airing next year.

The telefilm, which goes into production this month in Vancouver, centers on a young bride-to-be (Nevin) who is shocked when the father (Schneider) she never knew shows up alive and holding the deed to her family's dance studio, which she is hoping to sell in order to pursue her dream of becoming a therapist. She turns to her attorney (Downey) for help.

This marks the third Hallmark Channel movie for Schneider, following 2007's "You've Got a Friend" and May's "Shark Swarm." It's the first for Nevin ("The 4400") and Downey, though the latter is a familiar face to viewers of Hallmark Channel, which airs reruns of her series "Touched by an Angel."

"Wedding Dance" will be directed by Mark Jean ("7th Heaven") from a story by Jean Abounader...

Pressman and Elliott in 'Love' with Lifetime
Lifetime is getting Love Sick with an original movie toplined by Sally Pressman, star of the network's new hit Army Wives, and David James Elliott.

Additionally, Elliott has been tapped to star in the indie The Rainbow Tribe.

Love Sick is based on Sue William Silverman’s memoir "Love Sick: One Woman's Journey through Sexual Addiction." It tells the true story of Sue (Pressman), an attractive married woman with a seemingly normal life who has a dirty little secret: She is a sex addict. The film chronicles her downward spiral into sex addiction as well as her way to recovery. Elliott will play Rick, a guy with whom she has secret rendezvous at a seedy motel every Thursday.

Maria Nation (CBS' Ice Bound) penned the script for Love Sick, which will be directed by Grant Harvey. Tim Johnson and Jean Abounader are executive producing.

Pressman, who plays Roxy LeBlanc on Wives, is repped by Stone Manners Agency and manager Mike Smith at Principal Entertainment.

Elliott recently started filming Tribe, a coming-of-age tale set at a summer camp in Minnesota from writer-producer Daniel S.
