At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – and the free movies we shared this week delivered thrills, action, and horror!

This week’s line-up consisted of the crime thriller Danny’s Game, the Western action movie The Price of Death, and the horror film An English Haunting. Here’s some information on each of them:

Directed by Bill Cooper from a screenplay by Joshua Ungaretti, Danny’s Game has the following synopsis: Danny Bishop is a gambling prodigy. After exiling himself to prison, he returns to his brothers home only to find himself back in the game because of a large debt for his protection in prison.

The Rectory Getting Set to Haunt

Written and directed by Jonathan Chance, The Rectory stars Crispian Belfrage, Jason Vail, David Hogan, and Angela Dimarco.

Synopsis

With his reputation on the line, discredited paranormal investigator Harry Price (Belfrage) enlists candidates for a year-long experiment in the most haunted house in England, Borley Rectory. A Full Theatrical Trailer for Thriller As Good As Dead
As Good As Dead PosterA full theatrical trailer is now live for Jonathan Mossek's thriller As Good As Dead. The clip shows Cary Elwes as a man terrorized by Andie McDowell's character Helen and the Shulzstaffel tattooed Aaron (Frank Whaley). The trailer follows a revenge plotline, as two kidnappers try to identify Ethan's (Elwes) true identity. Or is he just an innocent victim? Fans will have to see the film for the finale and for the answer to this question, but in the meantime enjoy two minutes of suspense and tension in this As Good As Dead official trailer.

Already shown at the Porta Vallarta Film Festival in December (as seen here), The Donner Party is making an impact on DVD store shelves January 26th. Starring the phenomenal Crispin Glover (Charlie's Angels) and others, The Donner Party involves the real life account of several settlers who became trapped in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
