Wes Cravens underrated supernatural comedy Vampire in Brooklyn has received a brand-new streaming update. The 1996 cult classic was led by Eddie Murphy as a powerful vampire named Maximillian, who tries to seduce an NYPD detective in hopes of saving himself.

Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 1, Vampire in Brooklyn will officially be available to stream for free on Pluto TV. Besides Murphy, the film also starred Oscar winner Angela Bassett as Detective Rita Veder, whos unaware that shes actually a half-human, half-vampire hybrid. While working on her latest murder mystery case involving a corpse-filled ship, Rita meets Maximillian, who wants to transform her into a full vampire before the next full moon.
