Marlon was originally slated to play Robin/Dick Grayson in Batman Forever (1995) when Tim Burton was considering directing it, but once Joel Schumacher ultimately took the helm, his vision for the character did not jive with placing Marlon in the role and he instead cast Chris O'Donnell.

Hosted the Best Of Comedia short film screening at the 2007 Just For Laughs International Comedy festival where he treated the audience to an insightful lecture on the history of the short film and its relevance in contemporary comedy film making.

(July 23, 2009) Celebrated his 37th birthday at the Le Baron nightclub in Paris, France with a few of his G.I. Joe : Le Réveil du Cobra (2009) co-stars.
