Michael Selditch is an award-winning executive producer, showrunner, director, and creator with extensive experience in unscripted and documentary television. With a career spanning creation, production, development, and post-production, he has led teams in crafting compelling stories, delivering acclaimed projects, and implementing best practices in storytelling, budget management, and operational efficiency.
Selditch has played a key role in the development and production of numerous hit series for top networks, including CNN, NBC, HBO, MTV, FX, Netflix, Sundance Channel, Bravo, Lifetime, Discovery, TLC, and PBS. He has worked with esteemed production companies such as Zero Point Zero and Scout Productions, spearheading content creation and series development. Over the course of his career, he has executive produced and/or directed more than 20 television series, earning two Emmy Award nominations and winning the International Documentary Association (IDA) Award for Best Limited Series for Architecture School on the Sundance Channel.
Originally from Philadelphia, Selditch holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and was a licensed architect in New York before transitioning to film and television. In addition, he taught architectural design at Woodbury University in Los Angeles and Pratt Institute in New York. His change of careers from architecture to television began in set design for theater and independent film in the '90s, eventually leading to writing, directing, producing and a thriving career in television and film.
