  • Had been a very good friend of Mon oncle Charlie (2003) co-star Angus T. Jones. Both shared a passion for video gaming and reading.
  • She died on the 42nd anniversary of the death of her only sibling, Luther Martin Ferrell Jr. (born December 16, 1947).
  • She enjoyed playing video games, particularly role-playing games.
  • In the 1980s, she appeared in an all-star revival of the William Inge play "Picnic," which ran for several months at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. Co-stars included Gregory Harrison, Jennifer Jason-Leigh, Michael Learned, Rue McClanahan, and both Dick and Joyce van Patten. The production met with such critical success that it was produced as an award-winning Cable TV broadcast.
  • In 1974, she won both the Drama Desk (Vernon Rice) award and Obie for the off-Broadway "The Sea Horse."
  • Upon her death, she was buried at Forest Cemetery in Circleville, Ohio.
  • She was of English, Scottish, German, and Irish ancestry.
  • Had one daughter named Samantha.
  • Had two step-daughters, Lisa and Caitlin.
  • Starred in Mystic Pizza where she ran the pizza place. Worked at the pizza place in Mr. Deeds.
  • She was a lifelong Democrat.
